In Love Again

Am I in love again? Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps
But one thing for sure
Tonight I can forget all my miseries for the past two weeks and moved on
Thank you Ad for giving me the hope and the faith I had to LOVE AGAIN

KERINDUAN

Dulu pernah aku bersumpah
Selalu setia jika ku mencinta
Masih melekat rasa itu
Saat cintamu datang padaku

Semua terwujud, saat kau singgah
Panasi cinta, untuk setia merindu

(Korus)
Kerinduan tak akan menghilang
Kan selalu ku rasa
Tak mampu ku menghindar
Kau berikan, apa yang ku pinta
Kau mengingatku dalam cinta
Temaniku dalam…
Setia (jalani hidup ini)

Aku tak pernah mengharapkan
Cinta lain datang membelaiku
Aku dapat selalu bertahan
Menahan cintamu di sukmaku

Kehadiranmu basuh jiwaku
Engkau suluhkan api cinta diriku

KECEWA - BROKEN HEARTED

Semalaman aku terkenangkan dirimu
Lalu airmataku membasahi pipi
Mengapakah kau sanggup mengecewakan hatiku
Sedangkan kau tahu perasaan ini
Kau berjanji akulah kekasihmu
Sanggupku singkirkan semua cinta yang lalu
Tidak ku duga ini akan terjadi

My Mr. Right is no longer my hubby and i am so sad. Have been crying a lot ever since.

Howl's Moving Castle

This particular anime from Studio Ghibli fascinates me. The story is like this:

Young Sophie Hatter, who runs her late father's hat shop, encounters by chance the mysterious wizard Howl, who takes a liking to her. This arouses the ire of the Witch of the Waste, who has been seeking Howl's heart for herself, and she curses Sophie, turning her into a crone. As the curse prevents her from telling anyone of her condition, Sophie decides to run away. Along the way, she befriends a sentient scarecrow that she names Turnip Head, and they come across Howl's castle. Once inside, Sophie meets the fire demon Calcifer, who powers the castle and recognizes that Sophie has been cursed. Calcifer offers to break the curse in exchange for Sophie's help in breaking the pact between him and Howl. When Howl appears, Sophie announces that she is the castle's new cleaning lady. As she adjusts to life in the castle, she discovers that the front door is a magic portal leading to several places.

Currently, the land Sophie is living in is at war with its neighbor following the mysterious disappearance of the other realm's Crown Prince Justin, and slowly the war begins to reach the country. Howl receives summons from the King, who orders his various assumed identities to fight in the war. However, Howl fears Madame Suliman, the royal court's magician and his former mentor, and sends Sophie as his mother to decline his participation. At the palace, Sophie runs into the Witch of the Waste, who had previously been expelled from the court many years ago and now seeks to regain the royal house's patronage; instead, Madame Suliman punishes the Witch by draining all of her power, causing her to regress into a senile old woman. Suliman tells Sophie that Howl will meet the same fate if he does not contribute to the war. As Sophie vehemently protests these measures, Suliman comes to realize the true nature of this 'mother'; Howl then arrives to rescue Sophie, with the Witch and Suliman's asthmatic lapdog Heen tagging along. He gives Sophie a magical ring that would guide her to Calcifer, but Suliman begins tracking her to get to Howl.

Sophie learns that Howl transforms into a bird-like creature to interfere in the war, but each transformation makes it more difficult for him to return to human form. Howl shows his appreciation for her by transforming the castle so that it can lead to Sophie's old home as well as Howl's childhood residence, which he gives to Sophie as a gift.

Soon after, Sophie's mother visits the house, and somehow recognizes Sophie despite her old appearance. They then have a happy reunion. However, Sophie's mother is actually under Suliman's threats, and leaves behind a bag containing a "spying bug" under her orders. The former Witch of the Waste discovers it and promptly destroys the bug by tossing it into Calcifer. Unfortunately, Calcifer gets sick after eating the bug, rendering him unable to protect the castle from being discovered when Markl opens the windows to air out the Witch's cigar smoke.

A few hours later, the city is carpet-bombed by enemy aircraft while Suliman's henchmen invade the hat shop. After protecting the hat shop from the bombing, Howl transforms and draws the guards away, while Sophie and Calcifer bring the castle to the Wastes. Sophie pulls Calcifer out of the castle to destroy the magic and cut off all ties to the city, so that Howl would not be continually forced to defend them, then moves him back in to create a smaller version of the moving machine so they can rescue Howl. Unfortunately, the Witch of the Waste discovers Howl's heart in Calcifer's diminishing flames, and grabs it. To save her from burning, Sophie douses her and Calcifer with water. The castle breaks apart, and Sophie and Heen are thrown over a cliff.

Sophie recovers in tears, believing that she has killed both Calcifer and Howl, as their lives are interconnected. As she is sobbing, Howl's ring points to the remains of Howl's castle door; she walks through it and finds herself in Howl's past, where she sees Calcifer being caught by a young Howl as a falling star. Howl then makes a pact with the demon that he will give him his heart if he serves him. Sophie is pulled back into present time, but before leaving, she tells Howl to find her in the future.

Back in the present, Sophie finds Howl and realizes that he has been waiting for her all along. When they return to the others, Sophie takes Howl's heart from the Witch and puts it back in his chest. Calcifer returns to his original form and flies away, but returns shortly out of a new-found loyalty to Sophie. The remains of the castle (with everyone still inside) slide down the cliffs, and Turnip Head is forced to almost sacrifice himself to stop the fall. Sophie gives him a kiss, transforming him back into the missing Prince Justin, who had been cursed by a witch.

By now, Sophie has fully transformed back to her youthful self (with the exception of her gray hair), and Howl recovers fully. Though he has come to love Sophie as well, Prince Justin realizes that her love is for Howl and leaves to put an end to the war, as does Suliman, who has been spying on the group. Later, Howl, Sophie, and the others are seen aboard a new, flying castle powered by Calcifer on his free will. The film ends with Howl and Sophie on a balcony sharing a kiss.

MONEY BOYS .... STAY AWAY PLEASE ....

In my not so illustrious life, I have been trapped in a number of times in a relationship with the so-called 'money boys'. Fortunately for me, I have a circle of friends who kindly awaken me from my slumberous sleep and thereby reminding me of these not so good for nothing 'money boys'. So do stay away from my life ... or else ....

SUCCESS

I had my fair share of success: being the Best Student of Social Sciences at A Level; being the Best Student of ITM PPP/NCUK First Year (1988/1989) and being the Best Malaysian Student for the Law School in University of East Anglia (by being the only Malaysian to obtain a Second Class Upper LLB Hons in 1991). And not to forget being the only Malaysian to receive a Pass with Commendation for LLM (Commercial Law) in 1992. Success was indeed sweet.

WHAT IS LIFE

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it
Life is beauty, admire it
Life is a dream, realize it
Life is a challenge, meet it
Life is a duty, complete it
Life is a game, play it
Life is a promise, fulfill it
Life is sorrow, overcome it
Life is a song, sing it
Life is a struggle, accept it
Life is a tragedy, confront it
Life is an adventure, dare it
Life is luck, make it
Life is too precious, do not destroy it
Life is life, fight for it.

BEST FRIEND FOREVER (BFF)

During the turbulent times of my youthful days especially at College, I was thankful to God for granting me a person who has been my BFF. His name is How Chee Seng. He was a very good friend, who consoles me, who provides comforts to me in my difficulties, who tutored me into scoring for Mathematics for my A Level exam, who consistently advising me into turning myself to a better person, and who provides solace to my soul. From the bottom of my heart, a big Thank You to you, Chee Seng. And although you may have forgotten about me in my twilight years, I haven't forgotten you.

SODOMIZED?

I was sodomized against my will when I was doing my A Level at one of the boarding school in Kuantan. The perpetrator (a fat boy from Kelantan) came behind me and sodomized me while I was sleeping in my bed. I tried to scream for help but his weight was against me and he threatens to tell the others that I had enticed him to my bed. Being ignorant of my rights and afraid, I resigned to my fate. And perhaps for this particular reason, I detest all Kelantanese and all fat guys.

SEXUALLY ASSAULTED?

I was sexually assaulted when I was five years old. My mother's cousin (whom I shall called J) called me to his room one day (he was living with us during the time) and without warning shove his cock into my mouth. I struggled to break free from his clutch but being a small boy I was not able to. It was a nightmare for me and with a threatening voice he orders me to keep quiet about this and such violent acts against me continued a number of times until he moves away. Being sexually abused at an early age, I do think it affects me mentally and emotionally even up to this day.

FIRST CRUSH

As far as I can remember, I had my first crush on boys when I was in Form One at the only boys school in town ---> St Thomas Secondary School. His name was Khor Dean Hon, a chinese boy from Ipoh, who moves to Kuantan. I think he was stunningly goodlooking and I had a crush on him; admire him secretly and was able to be in the same class as him when I was in Form Two. From that day onwards until I was in Form Five, I was in the same class as him; being near to him just made my day and made me happy; anytime when he is absence from school, I would be in a depressing mood. Maybe I should have declare my love for him but I just don't have the guts; so being a mere classmates and friends with him is sufficient for me. And one day he gave me a AidilFitri Raya card and at the bottom of the card he wrote 'Love Adrian Khor'. Wow I was in high spirits having received a card from him let alone with the words 'love' on it. After leaving school for my A Levels, we did keep in touch with each other until something bad befalls me at college; something which I have been trying to forget but it keeps coming into my dreams.

WHO AM I?

My name is Razani. My family members called me by the name of 'Long' since I am the eldest of five; My mum sometimes called me 'Zani' (which in English word may be construed as 'zany'); and my closest friends called me 'Yong'. Well, that is my so-called names and nicknames.

I was born in 1968 in Raub, Pahang but was brought up in Kuantan. I went to St. Thomas Primary and Secondary School (the only all boys school in Kuantan) before furthering my studies in the United Kingdom to read law. I never had any intention in becoming a lawyer but are more interested in teaching (since my maternal grandfather and my father were a teacher themselves), I decided to take up lecturing law at the public university in 1st December 1992. Alas, my contract with the Public Services Department (being a Federal scholar) was transferred to UTM and thus, I am bonded for 17 years and more (stuck with the same organization whether I liked it or hated it). Since then, I have been teaching Malaysian Legal System, Law of Contract, Law of Tort, Land Law, Landlord & Tenant Law and Arbitration to students taking up courses like Property Management, Quantity Surveying and Land Administration. But, life is never that bed of roses for me all these years (I am already 41 years old last November).

My most treasured property (and closely attached to my heart) will be my precious cats and kittens whom I regarded as my own children (and I had in the past chose my cats in preference of a human companion). Ever since I can remember, I had loved cats all my life. My parents do not really fancy me having cats at home and since I had a fear of mice and rat (my kampung house used to be infested with these awful creatures), at night, I used to smuggled in a fat cat (named 'Gemok') to sleep with me. After I started working and earn my own money, I had a domestic shorthair cat named 'Baby' (brown patched tabby) living with me and she had three kittens - but one day, after coming back from kampung, I discover that my housemate (one of those people whom I hated most till this day - 'Nora Edora') had secretly thrown away my cats and kittens - How did I know? That night I dreamt of them telling me their plight and when I confronted Encik Nora Edora (an effiminate guy) he admitted it. And so, begins the forever war between us. Following that episodes of my life, I rented another house and started living alone, to my liking. Then came my first Domestic Long Hair cat - Baby Dee (Dee being the shortform of Diana, the Princess of Wales whom I admired so much) - I bought Baby Dee from a petshop in Jalan Tebrau following the death of Princess of Wales on the 31st August 1997.

This story will be continued in my next posting ... Ta Ta ... it is time for me to serve dinner for my kids at home.
