I was born in 1968 in Raub, Pahang but was brought up in Kuantan. I went to St. Thomas Primary and Secondary School (the only all boys school in Kuantan) before furthering my studies in the United Kingdom to read law. I never had any intention in becoming a lawyer but are more interested in teaching (since my maternal grandfather and my father were a teacher themselves), I decided to take up lecturing law at the public university in 1st December 1992. Alas, my contract with the Public Services Department (being a Federal scholar) was transferred to UTM and thus, I am bonded for 17 years and more (stuck with the same organization whether I liked it or hated it). Since then, I have been teaching Malaysian Legal System, Law of Contract, Law of Tort, Land Law, Landlord & Tenant Law and Arbitration to students taking up courses like Property Management, Quantity Surveying and Land Administration. But, life is never that bed of roses for me all these years (I am already 41 years old last November).
My most treasured property (and closely attached to my heart) will be my precious cats and kittens whom I regarded as my own children (and I had in the past chose my cats in preference of a human companion). Ever since I can remember, I had loved cats all my life. My parents do not really fancy me having cats at home and since I had a fear of mice and rat (my kampung house used to be infested with these awful creatures), at night, I used to smuggled in a fat cat (named 'Gemok') to sleep with me. After I started working and earn my own money, I had a domestic shorthair cat named 'Baby' (brown patched tabby) living with me and she had three kittens - but one day, after coming back from kampung, I discover that my housemate (one of those people whom I hated most till this day - 'Nora Edora') had secretly thrown away my cats and kittens - How did I know? That night I dreamt of them telling me their plight and when I confronted Encik Nora Edora (an effiminate guy) he admitted it. And so, begins the forever war between us. Following that episodes of my life, I rented another house and started living alone, to my liking. Then came my first Domestic Long Hair cat - Baby Dee (Dee being the shortform of Diana, the Princess of Wales whom I admired so much) - I bought Baby Dee from a petshop in Jalan Tebrau following the death of Princess of Wales on the 31st August 1997.
This story will be continued in my next posting ... Ta Ta ... it is time for me to serve dinner for my kids at home.
